In June of this year was when he had made up his mind of wanting to play for the Clippers. Harden even called Daryl Morey, president of 76ers, a liar and made harsh comments towards Morey and the organization through social media and press conferences. Harden is known as one of the best shooting guards in NBA history, but is also known as one of the most stubborn/do whatever he needs to in order to get what he wants players. Harden was slipping practices and wasn’t going on team road trips. The Clippers was where his heart desired to be and he got it. I believe that since he is where he wants to be he should have one of his best seasons being paired up with other stars such as Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.

How will this affect the 76ers?

In recent years, James Harden played a pivotal role in the Philadelphia 76ers' playoff runs, leading them to the Conference Semi Finals twice. With the Clippers having one of the best cores in the NBA now I see them having a great season and advancing to the Conference Finals at least and possibly even winning the NBA championship. This might be one of the most well balanced rosters in NBA history: PG: Russell Westbrook, SG: James Harden, SF: Kawhi Leonard, PF: Paul George, C: Ivica Zubac. Westbrook's impact on the basketball court is nothing short of electrifying. His unparalleled explosiveness sets him apart as one of the most formidable players in the NBA, allowing him to effortlessly navigate his way to the rim on most occasions. Moreover, Westbrook boasts a silky smooth pull-up jump shot in the midrange, further enhancing his offensive repertoire. Standing at an impressive size for a guard, he leverages this physical advantage not only when driving to the basket with authority but also in stifling the opposition on the defensive end of the floor. Paul George is known to be a “Slasher” type player in the NBA meaning he is great at driving to the rim, creating shots, making tough shots, and distributing the ball amongst teammates. Paul George has a great “team first” mentality meaning he will do what he needs to do in order for his team to succeed. Ivica Zubac is a great well-rounded center that can do what you need him to do. If has an assignment of not letting a certain player get a rebound or not letting a certain player get any mid range shots, Zubac is the guy to call. Zubac is a very determined player after playing many years behind overseas when he made the NBA being drafted by the Lakers he was an instant impact and a spotlight for anybody that was watching a game of him playing.
